Inception is also an Action |Thriller which is also the genre our film will be based on. The storyline is of a man called Cobb who goes into peoples dreams and extract hidden information from them without them knowing. 

Mise-en-scene

 The clip has many different types of shots, this picture is of a close up of the main characters face. This picture is good for a first shot because it instantly introduces us to the main character straight of the bat.
The director Christopher Nolan uses an establishing shot to get a good understanding of where the film or this scene will be which as constructed dream world.

sound and music

The non dietetic music within the first 15 minutes is very pulsing and loud to engage the viewer in the film, and is fitting with the genre. The dietetic sound of crashing waves is key to the location witch is a huge unknown beach in a dream world.

Editing 

The editing pace is very slow in the begging then speeds up as the action starts to unfold to build up enigma. Jump cuts between the spinning top and Cobbs face show the importance of the object and how it is key to the narrative.
